Federico Ferrarini

Federico Ferrarini (1976) lives and works between Verona and Miami. He began his career towards the end of the nineties, while attending the Academy of Fine Arts between Bologna and Venice. He has collaborated with various galleries in Italy and abroad and has participated in exhibitions at important public and private institutions, among others the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Palazzo Garzoni Moro in Venice and more recently the Macro in Rome.

 

For Verona Fiere and Fieracavalli, Ferrarini recently successfully designed the new communication campaign for Jumping Verona 2022, the schedule of international competitions that took place in the Verona city. The work, entitled Scall, a stylized horse with a strong vital impetus, symbol of the dynamism celebrated by the futurist movement, was created in homage to Umberto Boccioni 106 years after his death.

Giulia Osella

Giulia Osella (1989) born in Ivrea (Turin), she undertook a path of medical-scientific studies, from 2011 she is a nurse specialized in the surgical field.

Despite an unconventional, but intrinsically rich artistic education dedication, through in-depth study and constant experimentation personal, the artist has dedicated time and energy to the exploration of color, of composition and perfecting her technical skills. This commitment has led to the development of a distinctive personal style, characterized by expressiveness profound and continuous research within her pictorial practice.

Sebastiano Zanetti

Sebastiano Zanetti lives and works in Verona. He trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona, Brera, Milan and Venice where he specialized in Visual Arts and Entertainment Disciplines. In 2005/2006 he worked at the studio-ateliers of the Bevilacqua la Masa Foundation, Venice. His research in a constant parallel between art and architecture is covered by sector magazines such as Flash Art, Arte e Critica, The Plan, Area. He is invited to present his work at numerous conferences including “Real Presence floating sites”, Istanbul, Türkiye.

His works were present in important exhibitions and private collections in Italy and abroad: among others, we remember his participation in the “X Venice Architecture Biennale” with the project “CZ _VPI 2006” and in the 4th and 5th edition of the European Biennial of Contemporary Art of Nimes” (FR), the exhibitions with the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation and the SPAC of Buttrio (Ud). He is also the creator and curator of visual art, design and architecture projects: including the two editions of “Vrban, urban installations” for the Municipality of Verona, the “Quaranta per Quaranta, circa” project at Pad Verona, “End to end, the golden age” for “Galleria Fuori le Mura” and “Maledetti Albanesi” for the Municipality of Mantua at Casa del Mantegna with arch. L. Marastoni. In 2014 he is the author with arch. Michele De Mori of the book “Verona Writers, Aerosol Art Scaligera from 1984 to 2014” for the Cariverona Foundation.

 

Silvia Serenari

Silvia Serenari was born in Piombino in 1974. At the age of twenty she began a journey of artistic and spiritual research that led her to attend various meditation centers and to enroll in the Faculty of Philosophy in Pisa. In 2000 she moved to Rome and, in parallel with her artistic research and studies, she began to work steadily with a theater company, taking care of the sets and costumes, the organizational part and occasionally of performances on stage. For 3 years she worked in prestigious theaters such as: Argentina and Vascello in Rome, Caio Melisso in Spoleto, “Degli Avvaloranti” in Città della Pieve. In 2008 her first important personal exhibition was held: “Anima Urbis, Iter Perfectionis” in the Dora Diamanti contemporary art gallery in Rome. Following solo and group exhibitions in public and private spaces in Italy and abroad, among which we remember: Gilda Contemporary Art in Milan, E3 artecontemporanea in Brescia, the Roberto Peccolo Gallery in Livorno, the ancient Monastery of Missaglia, the Civic Museum of Chiusa, the Must, museum of the territory of Vimercate, the Palazzo dei Priori in Viterbo, the Pietro Canonica Museum in Rome, the Palais-Royal Station in Paris, the Kamalnayanan bajaj Art Gallery in Mumbai, the Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome. She was a finalist at: Terna 01 prize, at Gemine Muse, at two editions of the Combat Prize and, selected with video works in various editions of the Musae prize. 

Nicola Evangelisti

Nicola Evangelisti (Bologna, 1972)

Graduated in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. 

Evangelisti’s artistic path is united by a personal use of artificial light intended both as an expressive medium and as an object of reflection. In 2000 he won the Guglielmo Marconi International Prize. His work Big Bang becomes part of the Targetti Light Art Collection and is exhibited at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York, at the Center for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, at the MAK in Vienna and at the MUAR in Moscow.

Since 2006 he has expanded his poetics to social themes connected to war and terrorism. Some cycles of works begin depicting writings made in bullet casings, including YOU ARE NOT SAFE, part of the permanent collection of the Galila’s P.O.C. museum. in Brussels.   In 2009 he created the urban installation Light Blade, now part of the GAM collection in Milan. Since 2013 he has inaugurated a path of in-depth study of the sacred theme with references to the metaphysics of medieval light. Since 2016 he has created environmental light installations for the Biennale Light Art of Mantua at the Palazzo Ducale focused on the meanings of symbols in ancient religions.
